Is all your art original?
Yes. I sometimes use forms to speed the process along and I draw inspiration from things I have seen in my travels, but everything you can buy on this site is touched by me. It has a little piece of me in it. So therefore, like me, it is original.
I want to buy something that was in your gallery, but it’s not for sale. Can I do that?
The short answer is yes. I can do my best to recreate a piece that has sold for you. Lead time varies on my workload, and since you are buying original art, there always are variances in the final product.
Can I commission you to make me something?
I am always willing to discuss commissions with clients. Contact me at leslie@leslienorwood.com subject line: "Commission Request" to discuss these matters.
I don’t see a phone number on your website.
Exactly. I am often working all hours, hands in clay, glaze, paint, or some other medium. My phone is usually off during these times. The best way to contact me is through my email address.
How soon can I expect my item after an order is placed?
Generally, I can get an order packed and ready to ship in a day or two. Understand I live in Upstate New York, or as I like to call it “Subarctica”. Weather and my ability to get out is a factor in winter.
I noticed you have set shipping prices on some items. What gives?
Often my larger work is hollow, large, and extremely fragile. I charge a set price for larger items due to weight; size, fragility, and the uniqueness of each piece requires me to insure each item.
My item arrived broken. What now?
I try my hardest for this never to happen, but sometimes, it does. I insure the pieces from my end. Contact me at orders@leslienorwood.com subject line: "Broken Item" and the order number, along with a couple of snapshots and I will gladly refund your purchase through PayPal.
Will you ship out of country?
That depends on the location and cost. Honestly, I am wary of shipping outside the US due to the fragile nature of my art, and the likelihood of purchases getting damaged or broken in shipping. You are welcome to email me with a specific request and I will consider it.
